Watercolour: what's not to love about it? I love the transparency of it. I also love the immediacy of it. I consider myself a mixed -media artist but I find that with my mixed media pieces I can get stuck in the process; not all the time, but a lot of the time. However, with watercolour one basically does the painting in one or two sittings, depending on your subject matter. I find myself drawn to nature when I'm painting with watercolour. It just seems to lend itself so well to nature related subjects as it seems like a more natural medium. I hope you enjoy some of my watercolour pieces.
